Sunday School Program
Raising our children in the faith, traditions, and love of our Lord Jesus Christ
About Our Sunday School
Members of St. James believe that one of the biggest gifts we could give to our children is bringing them up in the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe Sunday School is one of the key vehicles to achieve this and also to pass on our traditions, culture, and goodwill.
So St. James Church has started an active and ambitious Sunday School program. In coordination with our Archdiocese, we are committed to nurturing the spiritual growth of every child in our parish.
Our Mission
In coordination with our Archdiocese, the mission of our Sunday School program is to:
Build Knowledge
Develop an understanding of the Bible to provide a strong foundation for Christian living.
Individual Growth
Help our children understand that God has a plan for each of them through individual study and analysis.
Decision Making
Lead our children to a personal commitment to follow Jesus.
Hold the Faith & Grow
Learn to worship our Lord through singing and praying, and help them remain in that commitment.
How We Achieve This
- Implementing a structured program for learning the Word of God.
- Sharing our faith and helping them seek guidance from the Bible.
- Providing an interactive environment to understand and experience God's love and His call.
- Educating our children on the need for regular worship and offering exciting opportunities to be with children who share the same Christian values.
- Introducing them to the faith and sacraments of the Church.
We have regular Sunday School classes every Sunday after the Holy Qurbono.
